About Me
Juliane Ort started her master’s degree in International Information Systems (IIS) in the winter semester of 2021. Before coming to Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), she successfully completed her bachelor studies at DHBW Mannheim with her corporate partner IBM. Within the 3-year study program, she was involved in various innovative customer projects, took on the role of project manager, UI/UX designer and got first insights into the fascinating world of machine learning and computer vision. Beyond that, she wrote her bachelor thesis on the topic of “Utility Analysis of Visual Recognition in Supply Chain Management” for the use in inbound logistics.
Since creating new products or services and being innovative is part of her work at ZOLLHOF and at the Chair of Information Systems I, Innovation and Value Creation, she now also wants to deepen her technical knowledge about machine learning and intelligent systems. In this way, she is supporting Prof. Dr. Patrick Zschech in his work at the Assistant Professorship for Intelligent Information Systems.
